Equality ??

In order to attain desired equilibrium promoting hypocrisy and diplomacy in name of equality, Is it right to fight against discrimination by promoting discrimination? Well who doesn’t know about equality, power, rights, women empowerment, feminism and all of that. Before moving further lemme tell you that I too believe in feminism and women empowerment. But what I don’t understand is how people use these words according to their convenience and the way they perceive it. Nobody can deny from the fact that society is accepting change, as we can see guys are participating and wining pageants where as women players adding pride to the country by winning gold medals for the country. Feminism is something that always amused me but diplomatic stands of them always makes me wonder what kind of equality are they talking about? whether it is pro women or anti-men? I mean in order to raise women do we really have to drag men down, right? Why, are men centre of attraction rather than women while talking about it? Why male bashing is important while fighting for equality? Do they really run society? Are they actually that superior? Let’s just talk about the other side of the coin. It’s not just females who suffer discrimination and inequality rather men go through same as well.

Well we live in a society where hypocrisy and diplomacy go hand in hand, so is in this scenario. We know that every girl expects a guy to act in a certain predefined way which is known as “GENTELMEN’S” behavior which is coming from old school since forever. From talking politely to opening car door, paying bills to standing in queues, from protecting to caring, well-educated with financial stability and what not in fact such behavior is a cliché. So tell me If girls still believe in all those old school things then why a guy is considered narrow-minded, shallow, dominating in short an MCP(Male Chauvinist Pig) if he expects the same old school stuff a girl should follow that are coming from that same old school? Where does equality lie here? What sort of equality are you talking about and fighting for? Such lip service can be seen in other seniors as well such as, If an organization just want female employees to work for them than that is considered as WOMEN EMPOWERMENT, fighting against odds, preserving rights but similarly if one organization doesn’t intake them than that is headline of every newspaper, media channels communicating Male dominating society. Bruh Equality? If a girl raises her hand on a guy she is appreciated for such bravery act while what happens if a guy does so, I guess there is no need to discuss that. A girl can get can attire of a guy and can walk around street anyone hardly care but if a guy does the same than that becomes nations headache. Such lip service can be seen in several other situations.

What shocks me more is the fact that, not only this but our constitution also promotes such kind of hypocrisy, Taking dowry is illegal and there are laws against, taking alimony and maintenance is legal even though they both part their ways after a week of marriage. Why??Women can claim 50% of men’s finance after marriage why not men? There are laws against men if they practice sexual verbal or physical abuse, but there is no rule lay if a guy goes through same Equality?? Our constitution also says that a boy is entitled to maintenance till he turns 18 whereas a girl is entitled to maintenance till she gets married. Only a man is prosecuted for adultery i.e (Sex outside marriage with married women). If a guy and a girl under 16 years of age has consensual intercourse, then he is a rapist. WTF man, I guess either they don’t know the meaning of consensual or they don’t want to see. If a man has intercourse on pretext of marriage and back off later, it is equivalent to rape and what if a women do so? A man serve up to 3 years jail or fine for sexual harassment. If the death of the women is caused by burns or bodily injuries within 7 years of marriage, then it’s her husband’s fault. RIP LOGIC. Who doesn’t know that it’s just not women who go through such things but there are man as well, what about equality in their case? What sort of laws are these? Are they supporting woman or meant just to drag men down? EQUALITY?

Let’s raise each other and attain equality with each other rather than fighting against each other isn’t it?
